Mapping land, air, water, environmental assets and natural resources

Sharing and Enabling Environmental Data (SEED) Portal – was developed with and for the community of NSW as a central place for everyone to find data about the environment. Initially containing publicly accessible land, air and water data from NSW Government agencies, SEED will grow over time as more and different types of environmental data are added.

Mapping current mining and exploration activity

Common Ground Portal – provides clear and concise information related to the processes and issues associated with the exploration and mining of resources in NSW. It includes many features to help you find current exploration and mining activity in your area. Search by title, lot number or map area, it is a simple and useful, interactive tool.

Hunter Employment Lands Development Monitor – provides data and evidence to inform the supply and demand for employment lands needed to support job growth, encourage business development, and contribute to the regional economy.

Important Agricultural Land Mapping Project – aims to identify land resources highly suitable for existing and future agricultural industries, and allow landholders, land planning agencies and industry to make better informed decisions.
